Cornelia Toma
Cornelia Toma, also known as the "Mother of Sommeliers," pioneered sommelier education, teaching at the Restaurant and Bar department since 1978.
She's the country's first female sommelier. Her exceptional career earned her numerous awards, including distinctions like "Maître Services in Restaurant" in 1998 and the Elena Cornaro Trophy in 2004.
Toma founded the Sommelier Club in 1998, later transforming it into the Romanian Sommelier Association (ASR) in 2007.
She's been recognized consistently for her contributions to hospitality and training in the industry.
Corina Toma
Corina Toma, tourism manager, sommelier, and communication specialist, led PR efforts since 2001, winning industry awards and spearheading campaigns for various restaurants and hotels.
Studied under renowned figures like Bob Proctor, Paul Martinelli, Berny Dohrmann, organizing conferences in Bucharest for over 1,000 attendees.
